My furr family

I usually post the odd photos of my furr babies, but I thought for how much therapy they actually give me that they deserve their own page.

Like many, my cats offer me so much comfort, they just always understand and they know when you need them. Each one of my cats have their own personality but they all contribute in their own way.

I will do a full blog of the benefits an animal can have on chronic illnesses but for now enjoy lots of cute and funny photos and videos.

Minnie- Minmin, diva, baby girl

The newest member of the family, currently only five months old (born 16th August 2021)

A complete goof ball, drama queen and diva, but the cutest little fluff ball. causes the most trouble, but how can you be mad at that face.

Knows she’s my baby, knows how to get her own way with me, but is always there for a cuddle when you need her.

You’ll find her begging for milk, playing or just generally causing trouble.

Favourite food: Cat yoghurts

Favourite toy: Mice or balls

Simba- Simby, ginger blob, Trouble

Matts Nanny’s cat who we took on when she passed.

Has the biggest personality, the fullest heart and the best cuddles. The best little doctor you could ask for, he’ll cuddle you when you’re in pain, sit at the corner of the bath, puts his paw on your hand when you cry, sits and watches out for the nurse, he’ll even finish your dinner if you can’t eat anymore.

Don’t be fooled by the cuteness, he’s the biggest trouble maker and the greediest.

My best friend and I’m honoured to have taken him on!

Jimbo- Jimjim, jimbob, tabby, raccoon

A 19th birthday present from one of my best friends.

A complete and utter weirdo! He’s the strangest and craziest cat you’ll ever meet.

Hes the easiest cat going, he’ll please himself aslong as he’s got a spot then he’ll be happy,

Favourite food: he’s not really fussed

Favourite toy: Laser pen

Marley- Marls, Marlston

He depends what mood you catch him in, he’s either an evil beast or a loving mard baby!

Loves cuddles and purring in your ear, other times he hates being touched.

Favourite food: Ham

Favourite toy: his fishy, or anything he can destroy

Arnold- Arnie, babarnie, barnold

He’s another strange one, easily pleased, big mardy bum when he wants to be.

Aslong as you feed him very often, all is good!

Skye: Skizzy, Skizzle, skizza

The dog I always wanted, (boyfriends dog but what’s his is mine, right?)

She makes the day better, she throws herself on you for a cuddle, she knows how to comfort you, shes got so much love to give and she just instantly knows when you need her.

Favourite toy- squeaky ball, or anything she can demolish

Favourite food- Prawn crackers or Yorkshire puddings

Figero- Figgy, Figs

My little old lady, she’ll be sixteen this year.

She’s honestly been in my life longer than I’ve lived without her. My nurse, shes been there for absolutely every diagnosis, health check, procedure, illness, etc.

Favourite food: Ham

Favourite toy- catnip cushion

Bella Bunny

Bella was a gift after a surgery, she got me through my recovery and many more. Originally she was a house bunny and lived like one of the cats. Unfortunately with a house move she had to go outside, but I don’t love her any less. She’s my reason to get out of bed and go outside.

Favourite food: toast or digestives

Favourite toy- anything she can chew
